**Description**

**Role and Responsibilities:**

* Ensure all associates are trained on work instructions and assigned tasks accordingly.

* Ensure no weld downtime

* Communicate part shortages with production control and stamping

* Ensure associates work in an effective and efficient manner.

* Able to perform all associate duties as need

* Address all safety issues/violations accordingly

* Respond quickly and effectively when problems arise, seek guidance from Coordinator or Manager when needed.

* Ensure all associates follow FIFO

* Oversee delivery/put away as necessary during sort/containment activities

* Ensure 5S duties are completed by all associated daily

* Follow all policy and procedures

* All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

* Prior knowledge of production processes preferred

* Previous experience in operating forklifts in a manufacturing environment highly desired.
